A most horrible sickness which mankind has known since times immemorial. Epilepsy is a disease of the brain and nervous system. It is also known as Falling Sickness from the suddenness of its attack; a person seemingly hale and hearty, in middle of normal work or conversation falls down, followed by convulsions and complete loss of consciousness.
