Adharniyavega
Natural urges like thirst and hunger are considered as the Vega, whereas Adharniya means non-suppressible, thereby the term refers to natural urges that should not be suppressed. The physiological functions of the body are related to some or the other natural urge thus making the suppression of these urges lead to a pathological state.


Dharniya vega (description of suppressible urges)
Dharniya means the one that is to be suppressed and vega means urge i.e. the urges natural or developed that need to be suppressed by every living being are described in ayurveda


Rasayan
Rasayana is responsible for longevity, outstanding memory, intelligence par excellence, health, youth, complexion, melodious voice, strength of body and sense organs, power of expressions, vigor etc. and it is the best means to obtain all dhatu. Rasyaan is one of the acclaimed concepts that deals with rejuvenation of physical body and wellbeing of psyche (mind). It also depicts remedy in the form of aahar (food), vihaar and aachar (conduct) closely related to mental hygiene, immunity and intellect.


Ritucharya
Ritucharya: This word is the combination of two words i.e. ritu meaning seasons and charya meaning routine, thus giving the complete term the meaning of the ruotine that is to be followed in different seasons.


Traya Upastambha
Traya Upastambha (Essential Triads of Health): This term is a combination of two words i.e. upa menaing support and stambha meaning base. As the concept of five elements that constitute our body is well known i.e. prithvi (the earth element), jala (the water element), agni (the fire element), vayu (the air element) & aakash (the space element) an equilibrium between these five elements is essential for physiological functions of the body.


Vajikaran
Vajikaran is the to the Science of aphrodisiacs. This word consists of two words i.e. Vaj meaning shukra or potency (sexual vigor) thus giving the whole term the meaning of the branch that deals with various aspects of sexual desire. Vajikaran doesn't contradict the abstaining from sex i.e. the brahmacharya but believes that sex is a means to procreation thus vajikaran serves the purpose of purushartha chatushtaya by helping to procreate sustainable species.
