This proves that these diseases were rampant even thousands of years ago, and the methods which were evolved for cure were effective and slothful.

Infact the entire super structure of ayurvedic therapy is built on the strength of these books, which are used today for the reference or guidelines for the treatment of various diseases and have, complete formulas of every medicine.
