MAN MADE NORMS

"The criteria of justice, piety, chastity, sin, goodness and badness, " Shri Param jit Kumar explained were based on arbitrary and man-made norms. Some awe both good and bad are made by traditions. Others are enacted by governments. But they do not mean anything to Cosmic Mind. Therefore it would be wrong to assume that Cosmic Mind would only help those who are good, when he has no such measure to judge the individual's goodness or badness.

Somewhere else in his writings he again quoted the example of Western Society where drinking and sexual enjoyment by adults with the consent of partner are regarded as personal and private affairs of the individual. It neither amounts to an offence in the eyes of the government nor a sin in the eyes of the God. On the contrary, in the Arab world, drinking alcohol and enjoying sex out of wedlock are not only abominable sins in the eyes of God but also serious crimes in the eyes of the State, and incur severe punishment.

These examples would mean that God had different laws and different standard for different communities. Shri Paramjit Kumar explained that it was not so. The goodness or badness of the persons are only man-made measures and differ from society to society and age to age. Cosmic Mind is totally indifferent to this aspect of human beings and simply responds to whosoever possesses the capacity to find access to him through enteric vibrations of mind.

WHAT IS GOD?

He thus summed up the basic tenets of  Psychic Ayurveda regarding man?s relationship with God by making the following observations:-

1. God is only Cosmic Mind and not in any material shape. It is an etheric pall of energy which is infinitely intelligent, formless, dispassionate and benevolent.

2. Invariably every call is answered. It does not matter who makes it. The Cosmic Mind responds as soon as call is received and tends to impart help of relief.

3. Being a formless field of etheric energy, it does not determine the degree of help or response by gauging the moral or material status of the supplicant, but exercises its response according to the intensity of the wish power of one who calls.

4. Wish Power which is synonym of prayer must not only be incisive and intense but also effective and powerful enough to reach the Cosmic Mind. This is achieved by adopting the discipline and formulas laid in Psychic Ayurveda.

In the lifetime of Late Shri Param jit Kumar, he was a radiant example of selfless service to humanity; both as a sage and Pathfinder for mankind through the darkness of turbulent future. When the threats of nuclear war and economic pressure were mounting up on nations he taught the imperative need for every person to find lasting peace and goodwill by turning to the inner universe of the mind. The cardinal point of his teaching was that the individuals alone through there thought force could create a mass pool of psychic energy that could dispel the clouds of gloom, tension and war from this planet and make it a fit place for humanity to live in peace and harmony.
